Role Description
We are seeking an experienced litigation Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to attorneys in a fast-paced law firm. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while communicating directly with clients, courts and vendors. The position involves transcribing dictation, managing calendars and deadlines, maintaining case files, tracking case progress, preparing, proofreading, and electronically filing documents in Connecticut Federal and Probate Courts using systems such as E-Servies, TurboCourt, and CM/ECF. Responsibilities also include formatting legal documents, assisting in legal discovery, trial preparation, coordinating with service providers, and supporting billing, and time entry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, virtual meeting platforms and legal billing software is essential. Candidates should have at least two years of legal secretary experience, strong communications skills and a solid understanding of relevant court rules and procedure.
