We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations within our Automated Machinery Division. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop teams across fabrication, welding, assembly, testing, installation, and commissioning
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure on-time delivery and efficient resource utilization
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve processes
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve operational challenges and support new product launches
- Develop and manage production schedules based on demand forecasts, labor, and material availability
- Monitor performance metrics and implement data-driven improvements
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and company policies
- Manage inventory levels, vendor relationships, and equipment readiness
- Support customer installations and maintain strong cross-functional and customer relationships
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to build a high-performing and engaged workforce
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of production management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership experience managing production teams
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, assembly, and machinery operations
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Experience with Lean principles, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required); ERP/MRP experience a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
