Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Wilmington, DE for an Employee Benefits Account Manager. The selected candidate will oversee client accounts by managing employee benefit plans, maintaining client relationships, and providing excellent customer service. Daily responsibilities include onboarding new clients, handling existing client renewals, liaising with insurance carriers, addressing benefits and claims questions, staying informed on evolving industry regulations, and providing strategic advice on cost-effective benefit plan designs. The Account Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure service excellence.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience as an Employee Benefits account management. Limited Self-Funding and Captive experience a plus.
- Proficiency in managing employee benefits packages and a solid understanding of benefits administration and compliance
- Strong communication, relationship management, and customer service skills
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Problem-solving skills and ability to navigate insurance claims, billing, and benefit-related inquiries
- Experience with insurance carriers and knowledge of relevant regulations is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software systems quickly
