Weinacker’s Montessori School has been teaching young children for over fifty years. We have the experience to guide you to excellence. We have holidays and weekends off. We are currently looking for both full-time and afternoon staff. Our hours of operation are 6:00am – 6:00pm Monday – Friday. Experience is preferred but we will train you if you are new to the field. You must be at least 18 years old and be able to pass a background check and physical. Pay starts at 11.00 per hour with additions for experience and education.

Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Support the development of children’s social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime and learning activities.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress.
- Help manage classroom behavior and implement positive discipline strategies.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a love of learning through creative play and exploration.
- Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in early childhood education preferred.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children is essential.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- First aid certification is a plus but not required.
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their growth.
