The Role:
As Production Manager, you will lead daily production operations, ensuring safety, quality, service, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement. You will supervise production teams to meet performance goals on time and in compliance with company standards. This role collaborates cross-functionally, identifies and communicates risks, and partners with key stakeholders to optimize operations. Success requires strong leadership, accountability, integrity, and effective collaboration at all levels. You will also drive safety initiatives, including training and behavior-based observations, to promote a culture of safe, accountable, and continuously improving work practices.
What You Will Do:
- Lead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Supervise, coach, and develop team members to drive performance, accountability, and engagement.
- Monitor production schedules and workflow to ensure targets are met efficiently and on time.
- Identify, communicate, and resolve operational risks, issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support production needs and enhance overall plant performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, safety standards, quality requirements, and cGMP guidelines.
- Promote a culture of safety through training initiatives, behavior-based observations, and policy enforcement.
- Use data and metrics to analyze performance, improve productivity, and reduce waste through continuous improvement practices.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and ensure adherence to all customer and plant specifications.
- Determine and manage temporary staffing needs.
- Track and analyze operational metrics to drive informed decision-making.
- Manage employee timekeeping, including timecards, PTO, and attendance.
- Recruit, select, train, and directly supervise employees.
- Set clear expectations, evaluate performance, and lead performance management processes.
- Review and initiate personnel and organizational changes as needed.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You Will Bring:
- 5-10 years of leadership management experience in production or manufacturing is required
- 2–3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse inbound/outbound operations.
- Ability to analyze data, drive improvements, and manage multiple priorities
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
- Strong working knowledge of safety, quality, and operational performance standards.
- Ability to lead teams effectively, build accountability, and develop employees for growth and performance.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills and experience in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
- Excellent math and computer skills, including experience with Excel, ERP, and/or WMS systems.
- Must be flexible to work extended shifts and Saturdays when needed
- Experience using data, metrics, and continuous improvement tools to drive operational results.
- Forklift, pallet jack, and reach truck experience.
- Knowledge of environmental issues related to production/warehousing activities.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required
- Must have strong process and equipment analysis skills in production operations.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
