University Foot and Ankle is looking for a Patient Services Coordinator to answer a high volume of calls, provide excellent customer service, and provide support to the practices.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Answers a high volume of calls and schedules appointments for all patients with a high degree of accuracy
- Communicates clearly on the phone and accurately documents and assigns messages
- Confirms and updates contact information for all patients at every contact
- Makes follow-up calls for any messages left
- Documents appointment visit status, including rescheduled, cancelled, confirmed, left voice message, or any other status appropriately
- Delivers all communications with excellent customer service
- Be courteous and professional for all patient interactions
- Routes calls to appropriate staff for swift resolution
- Strong computer skills, including basic keyboarding skills
- Ability to navigate through patient records systems
- Ability to analyze situations, prioritize, develop solutions, and make recommendations
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent customer service and communication skills over the telephone
- Ability to community sensitively and effectively with patients
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of medical practice terminology
- Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in fast paced scheduling or call center
- 1 years of customer service experience
- Experience working with performance metrics
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
