- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair building electrical discrepancies using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to minimize downtime.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
- Perform renovations and refurbishment on various building areas including private as well as public areas.
- Operate field service equipment such as scaffolding to access elevated or hard-to-reach areas for maintenance or repairs.
- Familiarity with paint and coatings as well as application methods including brushes, rollers and spraying.
- Collaborate with team members to use carpentry and ingenuity to support manufacturing processes and repairs, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum safety.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for compliance and continuous improvement purposes.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from production teams or management.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a public living facility environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in plumbing, carpentry, basic electrical, renovations, Chiller/Boiler systems, and schematics interpretation.
- Demonstrated electrical experience including working with high voltage and low voltage systems; familiarity with ammeters, ohmmeters, and analysis skills is essential.
- Knowledge of industrial electrician practices combined with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration across teams.
- Industrial mechanic experience complemented by analysis skills for diagnosing system failures quickly.
- Military background or experience in industrial maintenance roles is considered a strong asset due to discipline and technical training background.
