What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner position at Weighless MD and Wellness - The Veranda?
We are looking for a dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our weight loss and wellness centers in Kathleen, GA. You will serve as a member of a cross-functional team of providers, consulting with physicians, nurses, and other team members on the assessment, management and treatment of patients who are overweight and/or obese. As, well as patients looking for additional health and wellness options to include: IV Therapies, Lipotropic Shots, and other Peptide treatments.
Duties and experience preferred include: - Functional/medical health assessments, blood work and EKG interpretation, hormone and gut health experience is a plus. Good understanding of diabetes and issues involved is also a plus.
Must collaborate with physicians in accordance with Weighless MD's policies and protocols. - We emphasize wellness, disease prevention and patient education. We prescribe weight loss medications such as Semiglutide and Tirzepatide.
Other duties include supervision of clinical personnel as needed. This position is currently a part time position. No health insurance benefits offered for part time. We offer a competitive salary and other perks.
EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS: Current unrestricted medical license as required for clinical duties. Unrestricted DEA license. NP/PA degree from accredited institution.
