What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Site Specialist position at Weigel's?
• Conduct comprehensive market research and site analysis to identify viable locations based on demographic,
economic, and geographic data.
• Collect site selection criteria aligned with business objectives (e.g., traffic counts, competition, zoning, visibility,
proximity to target markets).
• Collaborate with internal teams including operations, construction, legal, and finance to assess feasibility and
ensure smooth site development.
• Perform due diligence on potential sites, including zoning, entitlements, environmental assessments, and
infrastructure availability.
• Analyze trade area characteristics using GIS and mapping tools (e.g., ESRI, CoStar, Placer.ai).
• Monitor real estate trends, market conditions, and competitive activity in priority markets.
• Prepare and present site packages and recommendation reports to Real Estate Directors.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in real estate data platforms and mapping software.
• Basic knowledge of Traffic patterns, terms and data
• Basic Knowledge of Permitting, local government approvals and construction
• Basic Knowledge of Real Estate terms, data and processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel frequently as needed.
This position will be Tuesday through Thursday up to 40 hours. Overnight stay is a possibility.
