Job Responsibilities
Project Execution and Coordination:
- Supervise and delegate tasks
- Plan and schedule manpower, equipment, and materials for daily operations
- Collaborate with superintendents to align with project timelines
- Track equipment usage and coordinate preventive maintenance
Communication and Reporting:
- Communicate technical details clearly to project teams and subcontractors
- Participate in pre-task planning and coordinate meetings
- Maintain accurate daily logs, timesheets, and documentation
- Report incidents, equipment issues, and material shortages promptly
Quality Control:
- Ensure all self-performed work meets or exceeds project specifications
- Complete tasks within labor and material budgets
- Continuously improve procedures and standards across trades
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor crews
- Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment
- Resolve jobsite issues with superintendents
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce Weigand safety standards and promote a safe work culture
- Identify and address safety concerns across all trade activities
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of field construction experience
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials
- Commitment to teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
