The role…
The BI Intern will support data-driven decision-making by analyzing and validating data, identifying process improvements, and generating actionable insights. Working with the BI team, this role contributes to enhancing efficiency, customer satisfaction, and innovation at Weidmann Electrical Technology.
How You’ll Make An Impact…
- Review and validate order data to identify and categorize causes of delays.
- Use translation tools and coordinate with business teams to ensure data accuracy.
- Clean and organize data for analysis and visualization.
- Perform Pareto analysis and create charts/graphs to highlight key issues.
- Support Qlik reporting by documenting data flows and creating process diagrams.
- Assist in implementing issue tracking and process improvements in SAP.
- Explore potential machine learning use cases for predicting order issues.
- Document findings and present progress reports to the Business Stakeholders.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Qliksense).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in business process improvement and data-driven decision-making.
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis (Pareto analysis).
- Familiarity with SAP systems (a plus, but not required).
