GRADE CREW MEMBER MISSION: Your mission is to support earthwork crews. You will assist skilled crew members, uphold safety standards, learn new skills, operate equipment, tackle challenging tasks, keep the worksite clean, and communicate effectively with the team.

Description of Duties:

• Maintaining Safety Standards: Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others on the site.
• Learning and Development: Gaining hands-on experience and learning new skills related to heavy construction and site development.
• Operating Equipment: Operate small equipment as needed for grading tasks. Use hand tools and grading machinery to shape and level surfaces to the required grade and slope.
• Performing Manual Labor: Engaging in physically demanding tasks like lifting and transporting heavy materials, digging and grading with hand tools, and assisting with installation of infrastructure components.
• Ensuring Cleanliness: Keeping the worksite clean and organized to promote efficiency and safety.
• Communicating Effectively: Working as part of a team and communicating effectively with supervisors and coworkers to complete tasks efficiently.

Position Type: Full Time

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, lift heavy materials, and stand for long periods of time.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions from more experienced workers.

Compensation:

• Hourly Position: Based on competency and skill level.
• Accrued paid time off (PTO) at the start of employment, and paid holidays after 6 months.
• Employer-sponsored Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefit Plans become available on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment.
