Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and professional Security Guard to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors in a professional services setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure safety and security.
- Control access points and verify identification of visitors, staff, and vendors.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security-related incidents.
- Provide assistance and directions to visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order.
- Coordinate with local emergency services when necessary.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid BSIS Guard Card (required).
- CPR certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in security, customer service, or a professional office environment preferred.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing and system monitoring.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Work Environment:
- Combination of indoor and outdoor patrols.
- May include evening, weekend, or holiday shifts.
