To support the North American operations, WeGrow AG LLC is looking for a Traffic Coordinator, based in Tampa, FL.
Job Description
- Execute transactions in adherence to all laws and regulations
- Execute contracts including documentary instructions as per sales contracts and letters of credit
- Manage all documentary presentations. Negotiate service contracts with surveyors and update the necessary data into the WeGrow contract/execution management system
- Check letters of credit/payment terms and requests any amendments to ensure that the letter of credit is valid as per the terms of the sales contract
- Forward instructions to related parties, appoint surveyors, follow up cargo and services documents, and provide final approval for the issuance
- Reply to overseas inquiries in a clear, concise, and timely manner
- Supervise and follow up closely as the direct point of contact and person in charge for loading and discharging and all the points in between of WeGrow's cargoes (ocean, truck and/or rail)
- Ensure that each transaction files are complete
- Obtains quotes for freight rates in a timely manner; negotiate freight rates with carrier or freight forwarders in coordination with other WeGrow offices
- Arrange bookings with carriers, freight forwarders or brokers in coordination with other WeGrow offices
- Arrange inspection services
- External contacts include carriers, agents, banks, inspection companies and third-party commodity suppliers and receivers
- Contact person for clients in terms of logistic matters
Job Requirements
- Several years relevant experience in logistics is a plus
- Familiar with local and international transport documentation
- Experience with container shipments, truck and rail transport
- Good knowledge of and experience in MS Office, Outlook and Internet usage
- Exceptional organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple transactions and tasks at once
- Good team player, dedicated and flexible
- English & Spanish (written & spoken) knowledge
