Legal Assistant – Corporate/Real Estate

SUMMARY
They are seeking an experienced Corporate/Real Estate Legal Assistant to support attorneys with leases, purchase and sale agreements, financing documentation, lending requirements, closings, and related matters. This role also includes coordinating client intake, conflicts clearance, and monthly billing with firm administrative teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, proofread, and edit legal correspondence and documents.
- Assist with real estate and corporate transactions, including closings and financing documentation.
- Coordinate intake of new clients and new matters; manage conflicts clearance.
- Maintain accurate and organized records, files, and billing information.
- Communicate professionally with attorneys, clients, and staff.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3–5 years of legal assistant experience, preferably in a large law firm.
- Commercial real estate or transactional experience required.
- Strong proofreading, editing, and typing skills (65 WPM).
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation knowledge.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with iManage (document management system) preferred.
