Role: Control Wiring
In this role, you will learn how to perform Control Wiring, including:
- Read, understand an interpret BOM, blueprints, drawings, schematics and specifications .
- Mechanical assembly of control box.
- Control box wiring including relays, terminal boards, electronic components, etc.
- Verification and mounting of control box.
- Conduit planning and installations.
- Installation of external wiring from control box terminals to CT's, fans, oil gauge alarms, lights, breakers, relays and to other auxiliary devices.
- Installation includes externals including surge arrestors, gauges, grounding, etc.
- Verify operation of all controls using ohmmeter. Perform point-to-point wiring checks, perform function checks.

Requirements
Basic:
- Prior experience control wiring.
- Ability to work within the WEG Code of Ethics, 4th Edition
- Able to work over-time as needed.
- Ability to interpret complicated drawings, schematics, specifications, and use of high school mathematics.
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend common vocabulary.
- Must be able to calculate basic math, including fractions, decimals and percentages.
- Resides within a reasonable commuting distance of Washington MO.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis; visa sponsorship is not available for these positions.
- External candidates must complete: Application, interview, drug screen and background check.
- Safety Sensitive position: Drug panel includes THC.
Preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in electrical operations.
Salary : $24 - $28
