About the Role
The Lean-To at Great Pines Lodge is looking to hire bartenders and servers! This is a great opportunity to make our guests smile at a classic upstate New York resort. The Lean-To offers elevated casual dining fare in an rustic-elegant setting right on Fourth Lake in the Adirondacks. With 29 guest rooms on site and countless activities in the area, Great Pines hosts guests throughout the season who are looking for a welcoming, hospitable environment to dine in on site.
Our servers and bartenders offer excellent service and hospitality to all of our dining guests, both hotel guests and those visiting from the local community. They are ambassadors of the Weekender Brand and can have an immediate and defining impact on the guest experience. We are looking for the best of the best to be team players and make our guests leave and want to come back again!

Compensation Package Offered
This is a part-time seasonal position. The Lean-To is open seasonally from approximately early December through early April, and then re-opens approximately early June through mid-October.
This is a tipped position that pays weekly.
As part of the wait staff and serving team at The Lean-To, you are responsible for providing top-notch guest service and excellent food and spirits to all guests. You're essential to making our guests return, time and time again!
Requirements
- Serving and restaurant experience
- Servers will interact directly with guests at tables, and our special events guide guests through the ordering process.
- Prompt, efficient friendly and knowledgeable service, guests will enjoy their time
- Multi-tasking tables and providing prompt, reliable service
- Work alongside team for side work and restaurant cleanliness and upkeep
- Weekend availability, flexibility during our busy summer season
- Positive, upbeat attitude
- Bartenders are responsible to checking valid ID's for those who appear to be under the age of 21 and completing ServSafe training
- Making drinks, mixed drinks and cocktails
