AI Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated AI Engineer to join our growing engineering team in New York City. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy cutting-edge AI systems that power intelligent products and business-critical applications. You will work closely with machine learning engineers, software developers, product managers, and research teams to build scalable AI solutions using the latest advancements in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and modern AI infrastructure.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  
• 5 years of professional experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or Applied AI development
  
• Strong proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or Scikit-learn
  
• Hands-on experience building production-grade applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Mistral, or similar models
  
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, AI agents, and tool calling
  
• Experience using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar AI orchestration frameworks
  
• Strong knowledge of vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, Chroma, or pgvector
  
• Experience deploying AI applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and MLOps best practices
  
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, API development, and scalable backend architecture
  
• Experience evaluating, monitoring, and optimizing AI model performance in production
  
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  
  

• Master's or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related discipline
  
• Experience fine-tuning open-source LLMs using techniques such as LoRA, QLoRA, PEFT, RLHF, or DPO
  
• Experience working with multimodal AI models involving text, images, audio, or video
  
• Familiarity with distributed training frameworks such as Ray, DeepSpeed, or Hugging Face Accelerate
  
• Experience with GPU optimization, CUDA, Triton Inference Server, or NVIDIA AI technologies
  
• Knowledge of data engineering tools such as Spark, Kafka, or Airflow
  
• Experience designing AI agents, autonomous workflows, and enterprise AI platforms
  
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or published research are a plus
  
  
  
  

• Base Salary: $200,000 – $350,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
