We are looking for a Project Engineer who has experience overseeing capital projects within a manufacturing setting. This position will support engineering efforts related to processing, packaging, and utility systems, managing projects from initial concept to final commissioning.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
β Oversee capital projects (CAPEX) through all phases including planning, design, budgeting, execution, and completion.
β Manage equipment upgrades, facility enhancements, and infrastructure initiatives.
β Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Finance, R&D, and external vendors.
β Support new product introductions, plant expansions, and process optimization.
β Ensure adherence to safety, food safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
β Prepare technical specifications, project documentation, and engineering proposals.
β Lead continuous improvement efforts and provide technical support to plant operations.
Required Qualifications:
β Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
β 3 to 5 years of Project Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
β Proven experience in managing capital projects and plant engineering initiatives.
β Familiarity with packaging, processing, utilities, and automation systems.
β Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
β Strong knowledge of project management principles and financial control processes.
Preferred Experience:
β Experience in the Food & Beverage, Dairy, Consumer Goods, or Process Manufacturing industries.
β Expertise with High-Speed Packaging Systems and Automation Controls.
β Knowledge of FDA, OSHA, GMP, and 3-A Sanitary Standards.
β Skills in Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
