Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting vital signs, medical history, and medication reconciliation.
- Prepare examination rooms and assist during procedures.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR systems) and electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring accurate documentation of patient encounters.
- Support medical administrative tasks including appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and medical records management.
- Perform clinical tasks such as administering medications, taking blood samples for lab testing, and assisting outpatient procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols for center settings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant with knowledge of outpatient clinics.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management is essential.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
- Knowledge of medical assisting procedures including medication administration and medical documentation standards.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately across diverse populations.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
