Role Description This is a part-time or full-time, on-site and surrounding area, Pediatric Occupational Therapist role based in San Dimas, CA. The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will evaluate children’s functional abilities, sensory processing, fine motor skills, and activities of daily living using standardized and clinical assessments. The role involves developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing one-on-one and small-group therapy sessions, and documenting progress in a timely and compliant manner. The therapist will collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare providers to support carryover of therapeutic strategies in home, school, and community settings. Responsibilities also include educating families on home programs, participating in team meetings, contributing to treatment planning, and maintaining a safe, engaging, and child-centered therapy environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy and Pediatrics, with the ability to apply OT principles to a wide range of developmental and functional needs in children.
- Experience or training in Sensory Integration and sensory-based interventions to support regulation, attention, and participation.
- Background in Early Intervention and Working With Children, including skills in family coaching, play-based approaches, and caregiver education.

- Current occupational therapy license (or eligibility) in the state of California; graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Strong documentation, time management, and organizational skills, with ability to manage a clinical caseload and maintain accurate records.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with families, educators, and interdisciplinary team members in a respectful, culturally responsive manner.
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain, and familiarity with pediatric safety and infection control practices.
- Previous pediatric clinical experience in outpatient, school-based, or early intervention settings is preferred but not required; new graduates with a strong pediatric interest are encouraged to apply.
