We are currently seeking a Senior Lawn Care Technician / Service Supervisor to join our team immediately.

Position Details

Compensation: $24/hour commission performance bonuses

Reports To: Branch Manager

Schedule: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays during peak season. Typical working hours are approximately 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM; however, flexibility is required as start and finish times may vary based on business needs.

Position Summary

The Service Supervisor / Senior Lawn Care Technician plays a key leadership role in both customer service and field operations. This position is responsible for responding to customer concerns, providing lawn analysis and quotes to prospective clients, supervising technicians, conducting property inspections, and supporting the Branch Manager with day-to-day operational duties.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines lawn care expertise, customer interaction, team development, and sales leadership. A successful candidate will lead by example by delivering exceptional service while actively promoting and selling Weed Man programs and services. This role also includes coaching and training technicians on how to identify customer needs, recommend solutions, and improve sales performance in the field.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer concerns
• Meet with customers in person or by phone to resolve issues and answer questions
• Provide lawn analysis and pricing quotes to prospective clients
• Inspect customer properties and recommend lawn improvement solutions
• Actively promote and sell Weed Man services and programs to both current and prospective customers
• Lead by example in achieving service and sales goals
• Coach, mentor, and train technicians on customer communication, upselling, and sales techniques
• Assist technicians in identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate services
• Support the Branch Manager with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Supervise and support lawn care technicians in the field
• Assist with loading trucks and preparing equipment
• Perform lawn care applications, including fertilization and weed control
• Complete reports and documentation within required timelines
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both current and prospective clients
• Assist with maintenance and minor repair of equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned trucks and equipment
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Perform additional duties as required to support team and department goals

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or team supervision experience
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Sales experience or a strong customer service and sales mindset preferred
• Ability to coach and motivate team members to improve performance
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Previous lawn care experience is considered an asset, but is not required
• Ability to work extended hours during peak production periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver’s license required
• High school diploma or equivalent
