What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Pastor position at WEE School at Central Baptist Church?
Central Baptist Church (SBC), Eureka, Missouri is prayerfully seeking a full-time Youth Minister to join our staff to lead middle and high school students to Christ while providing spiritual guidance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for students and a desire to teach the Word of God and disciple young minds.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee youth ministry, including Sundays and Wednesday nights
- Evaluate current program and create vision for youth ministry
- Work directly with students in a way that meets their needs for spiritual growth
- Recruit, train, support, and oversee volunteer leaders for youth ministry
- Keep parents informed of all youth ministry events
- Coordinate a balanced calendar, which provides for the relational and spiritual needs of students
- Plan regular monthly, quarterly, and yearly activities for students (D-Now, camp, game nights...etc)
- Manage youth ministry budget
Qualifications:
- At least 1-3 years leading or assisting in youth ministry
- Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage digital presence through social media and communicate through text and email
