We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the developmental and emotional needs of children in our care. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Duties
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times during care hours
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices
- Support behavioral management strategies to encourage positive behavior
- Engage children in educational play and teaching activities aligned with early childhood education principles
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily experiences
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment suitable for children's activities
- Provide special care for children with disabilities or special needs as required
- Administer first aid when necessary and follow health and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Prior experience in childcare, daycare, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development stages and early childhood education best practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with parents, children, and team members
- Ability to manage behavior effectively and foster a positive learning environment
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Relevant experience in toddler care, infant care, preschool activities, or caregiving roles is advantageous
