Childcare Provider

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the developmental and emotional needs of children in our care. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, a strong understanding of childhood development, and a passion for early childhood education. Duties

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times during care hours
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices
• Support behavioral management strategies to encourage positive behavior
• Engage children in educational play and teaching activities aligned with early childhood education principles
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily experiences
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment suitable for children's activities
• Provide special care for children with disabilities or special needs as required
• Administer first aid when necessary and follow health and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Prior experience in childcare, daycare, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development stages and early childhood education best practices
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with parents, children, and team members
• Ability to manage behavior effectively and foster a positive learning environment
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
• Relevant experience in toddler care, infant care, preschool activities, or caregiving roles is advantageous

Pay: $16.00 per hour
