Overview
We are looking for passionate individuals with experience working in the child care field to join out team.

A generalized list of job duties include:
- Establish and maintain daily schedule
- Maintain ratio within the classrooms
- Follow chain of command
- Follow direction of Lead Staff with team work & respect
- Assist in implementing weekly lessons
- Make necessary accommodations for children with disabilities
- Make sure all classroom supplies are in rooms for the day
- Maintain safety and well being of all children in care
- Greet parents and children upon arrival and departure
- Create a warm, inviting, organized, and stimulating learning environment
- Maintain organized and defined centers (sensory, housekeeping etc)
- Routinely check for safety concerns within the classroom, outside the classroom and the playground
- Decorate room with children’s art work
- Responsible for serving meals, making accommodations for food allergies and intolerances and documenting of meal counts for each meal
- Attend relevant trainings approved by Director
- Implement effective guidance and discipline techniques
- Maintain current Background Clearance, CPR, First Aid, annual STARS, BBP and Food Handlers card
- Assist and supervise field trips when needed
- Maintain confidentiality of children, staff and families
- Maintain professionalism in conduct and appearance
- Follow Wee Care Day Care Employee Handbook, Health Policy, and Disaster Policy, the WACS, Foundational Skills and Competencies, and Early Achievers standards including ERS and CLASS
- Manage challenging behaviors
Pre-Employment qualifications include:
TB test
1st Aid/CPR
Early Childhood Education or experience
Child Care Basic STARS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.75 - $22.75 per hour, dependent on level of Early Childhood Education.
