Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural welding on large-scale projects, ensuring quality and precision in all welds.
- Work with various materials, including but not limited to steel and other heavy-duty metals.
- Operate and manage cranes for the safe handling and placement of large materials during welding operations.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators when working with gavel or hazardous materials.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Inspect completed welds for defects and quality assurance.
- Work with multiple hand tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and production goals.
- Assist in the setup, teardown, and preparation of welding stations.

Specific Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Enclosure Welder or in a similar structural welding role, particularly with large-scale projects.
- Expertise in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Ability to operate a crane safely and efficiently.
- Strong background in construction
- Experience working with gavel and other heavy-duty materials.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the use of PPE, including respirators.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and operate machinery.
- Capability to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to fumes (with proper respiratory protection).
- Standing, bending, and climbing for extended periods as needed during welding tasks.
- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME).
- Previous crane operator certification or training.
