Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all rooms and surfaces
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards and ensure a safe environment
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently
- Operate cleaning equipment and use appropriate cleaning detergents safely for various surfaces
- Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and outdoor work to maintain exterior areas of the property
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and provide personalized service
- Maintain organized cleaning schedules, manage time effectively to complete tasks promptly, and ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned within designated timeframes
Experience
- Prior residential housekeeping or janitorial experience demonstrating proficiency in cleaning techniques and surface sanitation
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, carpet cleaners, floor buffers, and other janitorial tools
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper handling procedures for safe use
- Experience in outdoor work environments including patio or garden maintenance is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their preferences and needs
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently while performing multiple cleaning tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, bending, reaching, and prolonged standing
