What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Sales Manager position at Wedgewood Weddings?

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
- Define and execute outside sales strategy for corporate, non-profit, and association events. Solicit new and repeat business through the preparation, execution, and completion of action plans.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities and the evaluation of clients’ needs.
- Drive revenue by maximizing weekday event space utilization.
- Create and maintain a client data base. Develop and improve a continued relationship with key clients in order to produce additional business.
- Conduct on-site personal consultations and site tours.
- Create detailed and accurate proposals through Salesforce which meet the client’s needs while adhering to company standards.
- Cultivate positive online reputation via reviews, recommendations, and loyal past customers. Generate follow up efforts to clients after functions with prompt follow up of negative client feedback as necessary.
- Assist the client in event planning; coordinate food, beverage, room set-up, décor, and other services requested by client; assure that all requirements are communicated to the operations staff and completed to clients’ specifications.
- Work as a committed team member. Attend and contribute to team sales and BEO meetings. Cross-train on social sales and event planning and provide coverage in other disciplines as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Works well under stress and pressure.
- Ability to relate to a diverse set of team members and clients.
- Understanding of catering sales and ability to contribute positively to a dynamic sales environment.
- Experience as a Catering Sales Manager, Event Planner, Hotel Convention Services Manager or Meeting Planner is highly beneficial.

Pay Rate: $75,000-$100,000
Quarterly Bonus: $2,500
