Wedding Angels Bridal Boutique is proud to present our Sales Manager position at our Portland, ME location in the heart of downtown. We will offer the largest selection of wedding gowns and mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses in New England with 800 gowns from over 10 different designers. We are champions of body inclusivity and are proud to offer a vast inventory of plus-size dresses!
Collegiate level education and previous experience in management and high-end sales management preferred. Previous bridal experience is always a plus.

Combined: $50,000 - $75,000 annually

- You enjoy traveling. The Wedding Angels Flagship boutique is located in Roswell, GA with our second location in Portland, ME. Traveling, training and educational retreats are a fun part of the job!
A day in the life of a Sales Manager Wedding Angel:
- Set the tone and create a positive and supportive working environment for our bridal consultants and team at large.
- Be reliable and accountable for all follow through, especially with customer deadlines and internal staff communications and projects.
- Utilize multiple software systems to create quotes, build orders, build out sales trainings, stay on top of workflow, and study from our vast training library.
- Lead and support our floor managing program.
- Educate Stylists on Top Performing Gowns.
- Update Best Seller Slide Shows and all Training Documents.
- Track Stylists sales metrics and progress.
- Analyze sales metrics to identify trends, inventory opportunities, and training areas.
- Prepare routine sales reports for senior leadership.
- Set clear communication expectations with the sales department. Provide constructive feedback to the team members. Foster a positive professional development environment.
- Monitor stylists follow up and customer communication on appointments.
- Monitor staff tasks to ensure timeliness and proper execution.
- Answer questions regarding bridal styles, accessories, customization questions, rush options, alterations options, etc.
- Monitor competitor activity and market conditions.
- Communicate with fellow Leadership Angels on urgent customer orders.
- Communicate with vendors and third-party partners.
- Train new staff members.
- Monitor sales reports.
- Send weekly staff communications.
- Coach in the moment and collaborate with other leadership Angels on training and projects.
- Cross-train in many of the Wedding Angels Departments. Our leadership team is well-versed in all systems.
