Our Los Angeles team is looking for a Benefits Manager to join our HR team. This role is responsible for the strategic oversight and administration of all employee benefit programs across the firm.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute a multi-year benefits strategy and annual plan aligned with company objectives and budget
- Manage the design, administration, and ongoing optimization of all employee benefit programs
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and applicable state and federal regulations
- Lead vendor selection, RFP processes, contract negotiations, and ongoing carrier performance management
- Oversee benefits budgeting, forecasting, and executive-level reporting and analytics
- Prepare and deliver plan summaries, employee communications, and benefits education sessions
- Partner with Finance, Payroll, HRIS, Legal, and external advisors to ensure data integrity and process efficiency
- Analyze legislative and regulatory changes and recommend policy or plan updates to leadership
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, standardized procedures, and enhanced colleague experience
- Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned
Experience and Skills
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university required
- Expertise in benefits planning, plan design, funding strategies, and cost containment
- Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and local employment, benefits, leave, and disability laws and regulations
- Deep understanding of self?funded and/or self?insured health plans, including financial, compliance, and vendor management considerations
- Strong analytical and research skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with HRIS and financial systems including UKG and Great Plains preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and educate across all levels
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects simultaneously
- Proven leadership, project management, and change management capabilities

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $110,000 to $150,000. Colleagues may be eligible for additional , discretionary incentive compensation based on the colleague's and the firm's performance. Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
