As an integral member of our research team, you'll be at the intersection of science, finance, and strategic insight:
- Conduct rigorous scientific and market due diligence on covered companies, including channel checks and competitive intelligence gathering
- Develop, update, and maintain sophisticated financial models that inform investment decisions
- Prepare and assist in the timely publication of research reports and notes that influence institutional investors
- Design and execute surveys with leading medical professionals to assess clinical and commercial opportunities
- Interpret scientific publications, clinical trial data, and medical conference presentations to identify investment implications
- Interact directly with corporate management teams and collaborate with our internal sales force
- Conduct deep-dive diligence on neurology or oncology franchises, rare disease programs, and innovative technology platforms
- Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university; preferably in life sciences, or hold advanced degrees (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent)
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial services
- Advanced Excel skills and superb quantitative capabilities
- Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Self-starter who excels working both autonomously and within team settings
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to prioritize effectively with minimal direction
