Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of fiber optic construction projects.
- Lead project teams, including subcontractors, engineers, and field personnel, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Ensure the quality of work meets Wecom Fiber’s standards and industry regulations.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports.
- Resolve issues and conflicts that arise during the construction process in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including design, engineering, and procurement, to streamline project execution.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
- Maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities to ensure project requirements are met.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project progress, challenges, and milestones.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
- Strong knowledge of fiber optic construction practices and regulations.
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to travel as required for project oversight and coordination.
- Professional certification (e.g., PMP, CCM) is a plus.
- Experience with fiber optic network design and deployment.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal construction regulations.
