What are the responsibilities and job description for the Porter - Multiple Openings position at Weclean?
Now Hiring: Evening/Overnight Porter
WeClean Inc. is looking for a dependable, hardworking Porter to join our team for the evening and overnight shift. If you take pride in keeping buildings clean, safe, and well-maintained, we’d love to hear from you.
The first thing anyone notices when they walk into our facility is whether it is clean. As a Porter, that is on you — and it is a role we take seriously. You will be the person who keeps our hallways, lobbies, dining areas, and shared spaces looking and feeling their best. No experience required. If you take pride in a job well done and want steady, meaningful work in a place that genuinely cares about its team, this is the right opportunity.

- Competitive hourly pay (listed upfront)
- 401(k) retirement plan
- Consistent schedule with set shift hours
- Full on-the-job training provided
- Stable, long-term employment
- Supportive team environment
What you will do
Your primary focus is the cleanliness and upkeep of all common and shared areas throughout the facility.
- Clean, sweep, mop, and maintain hallways, lobbies, waiting areas, stairwells, and elevators throughout your shift
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces including handrails, door handles, light switches, and shared furniture
- Empty and reline trash and waste receptacles in all common areas and dispose of waste properly
- Monitor common areas continuously and address spills, debris, or hazards immediately
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and liners in shared restrooms and common spaces
- Keep supply carts, closets, and equipment clean and organized at all times
- Follow infection control and safety protocols — full training will be provided
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns to your supervisor promptly
- Support the housekeeping team with additional tasks as needed during your shift
What we are looking for
No prior experience is required. We will train you completely. What we cannot train is attitude — we want someone who takes ownership of their space.
- Reliable — you show up on time and take responsibility for your assigned areas
- Detail-oriented — you notice what others walk past and you fix it
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 35 lbs throughout your shift
- Comfortable working in a healthcare environment with elderly residents present
- Available for at least one of the two shifts listed above
- Able to commute to Royersford, PA 19468
- Willing to complete a standard background check before your start date
Prior experience in custodial, janitorial, or porter work is a plus — but it is not required to apply.
