Description
WeCare at SOUTH HILLS is actively seeking a Transportation Aide for our community in Canonsburg, PA! As a Transportation Aide you are entrusted with the responsibility of caring for our residents, families and co-workers.
Key Responsibilities
Report all pertinent information concerning resident care as detected to appropriate personnel.- Drive facility provided vehicle.
- Transport residents, staff and volunteers to desired destinations.
- Review daily rehabilitation schedule and be available as indicated.
- Provide minimal assist of residents transferring to and from wheelchairs.
- Ensures a safe environment
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Maintain positive, professional interaction with residents and staff.- Graduate of an accredited high school or GED.
- Valid, unencumbered state drivers license.
- 1-2 years transportation experience preferred.
- Previous long term care experience.
- Must have experience transporting and transferring residents with physical impairments using facility equipment.
