Job Summary:
The PCHA is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) regulations. The Administrator ensures high-quality resident care, manages staff, maintains regulatory compliance, and oversees financial and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance & Facility Operations
- Maintain facility licensure and certification, coordinating with Pennsylvania DHS for inspections and compliance checks.
- Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures for resident care, medication management, infection control, and staff training.
Resident Care & Quality Assurance
- Oversee resident assessments, care plans, and health monitoring in compliance with state regulations.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident safety, dignity, and well-being.
Staff Management & Training
- Develop ongoing education programs to maintain compliance with Pennsylvania's training requirements for personal care home employees.
- Conduct performance evaluations and enforce disciplinary actions as needed.
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
- Manage facility budget, financial records, and operational expenses.
- Work with state and local agencies to secure funding or assistance for eligible residents.
- Oversee marketing, admissions, and community outreach efforts.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Personal Care Home Administrator (PCHA) in Pennsylvania,
- Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare, senior living, or long-term care setting.
- Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania state regulations for personal care homes.
- Leadership, financial management, and organizational skills.
