Job Description:
We’re seeking a skilled IT Computer and Network Field Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer systems, network equipment, and related devices within our client’s premises.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, network hardware, and peripherals
- Identification and resolution of software and hardware problems
- Implementation and monitoring of network security measures
- Offering onsite and remote support to our clients
- Training end-users and writing maintenance manuals
- Keeping updated records and documenting customer service actions and discussions
- Staying current with system information, changes, and updates
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, network technologies, or a related field
- CompTIA A , Network , or equivalent certification is preferred
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience as an IT Technician or a similar role
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Deep understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience
- Strong field installation experience, including network equipment (routers, switches, modems)
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage your time
- Current driver’s license and ability to travel to client locations
