We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to work in our Florence, SC office. The ideal candidate will perform day-to-day Administrative functions, in addition to providing exceptional customer service and overall support to the tax team. This role requires excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate calendars and schedule appointments, ensuring all parties are informed of and kept abreast of schedule awareness
- Perform general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
- Utilize the firm's e-file system to electronically file extensions and tax returns; efficiently process and assemble tax returns
- Prepare tax organizers and notices in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures
- Maintain and update various databases, spreadsheets, and project trackers to ensure they remain current and accurate; monitor applicable tax software
- Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as requested
Qualifications
- AS in Secretarial Science or equivalent experience
- 2 years experience as an administrative assistant - preferably in a professional services environment
- Must be able to project professional image to our clients and the community
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding communication skills required
- Advanced technology skills; must be proficient in Microsoft Office
