Resident Care Associate – Women's Sober Living Home
Position Summary
The Resident Care Associate plays a vital role in creating a safe, structured, and supportive living environment for women in recovery. This position provides daily supervision, encouragement, and accountability while promoting personal growth, healthy living, and long-term sobriety. The Resident Care Associate serves as a positive role model by fostering respect, dignity, compassion, and empowerment for every resident.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise residents; conduct check-ins; monitor safety; perform room inspections; document incidents; assist with orientation; ensure attendance at required activities; monitor medication self-administration if applicable; conduct room and wellness checks; complete reports; maintain confidentiality; assist with meals and housekeeping; support conflict resolution; attend trainings; respond to emergencies; perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred. Experience in recovery or residential care preferred. CPR/First Aid certification. Current Narcan (Naloxone) training and certification required, or ability to obtain before working independently. Valid driver's license preferred. Must pass background check and drug screening.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of addiction and recovery, strong communication, documentation, professionalism, crisis response, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and work evenings, weekends, holidays, or overnight shifts.
