General Statement of Duties: Looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and strategic Event Coordinator to support recruitment events at Webster University. This includes campus-wide open houses, audition days, admitted student programs, and other events that support undergraduate, graduate, transfer, and international recruitment. The Coordinator ensures all events are student-centered, strategically aligned, and executed in collaboration with academic departments and key campus partners.
This position plays an essential role in showcasing the university and supporting enrollment goals by delivering a welcoming and informative experience for prospective students and their families.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience:
At least 1 year in admissions, event planning, customer service, or student services. Experience in higher education preferred.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SLATE or other CRM experience preferred.
- Strong time management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Comfort with a fast-paced, visitor-facing environment.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through skills and the ability to see projects through to completion.
