This is a CONTINUOUS OPEN ANNOUNCEMENT for the Webster University Biological Sciences Adjunct Instructor Pool. Webster University seeks to maintain a pool of individuals who are qualified and willing to provide instruction for Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Exercise Sciences. Individuals with experience and appropriate credentials in these areas are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will be required to comply with internal academic policies and with external accreditation agencies standards/requirements in order to retain appointment.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Adjuncts are hired on a part-time basis to augment the instructional needs that current faculty members are not available to meet. Qualified Instructors will be chosen from the Adjunct Instructor Pool to teach as specific needs arise. Courses may be online or in person. Modality may be in person lecture discussions or laboratory.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree within the discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, ) with a terminal degree highly desired
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability for on campus instruction for traditional course delivery
Qualifications (Desired)
- Significant applied experience within the professional setting of identified need
- Prior teaching experience
- Publication and/or professional experience
- Experience with online instruction
Qualifications:

Master's degree within appropriate scientific field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or related field from an accredited institution of higher learning.
