Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of delivery vehicles, including sprinter van and 26' Box truck (no CDL required)
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, ensuring timely arrivals while managing multiple stops throughout your shift.
- Load and unload merchandise with proper lifting techniques, handling heavy items with care to prevent damage or injury.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including invoices, receipts, and route logs, ensuring all records are complete and organized.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist with merchandising at retail locations when needed and support inventory management efforts during deliveries.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving or automobile transportation, with a valid driver’s license suitable for the vehicle type assigned.
- Strong knowledge of route driving, navigation tools, and traffic laws; familiarity with DOT regulations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination; ability to build rapport easily.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting tasks; committed to safe lifting practices to prevent injuries.
- Experience in retail store environments or sales roles enhances customer relationship building abilities.
- Organizational skills for managing schedules, route planning, and documentation efficiently.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
