What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Aide, Walter Ambrose Family Center position at WEBSTER GROVES SCHOOL DISTRICT?
Primary Objective: To assist classroom teachers in the instructional process, reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in a classroom environment. Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of lesson plans and provide routine support. Assist students with academic and/or physical needs in order for students to access the educational environment.
Essential Functions:
- Schedule 9:15 AM - 5:15 PM
- Assist teachers with instruction of students in the classroom
- Assist teachers as needed (i.e., keeping the students engaged in the learning process)
- Assist at rest time hours as assigned
- Opportunities for summer work
- Other duties as assigned
Education: Minimum of (60) sixty college hours. Does not need to be in early childhood or related field.
