Base Compensation Range:
Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus and some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining pay, we consider various factors including, but not limited to, skills and experience.
POSITION SUMMARY: Supports a sales and service culture designed to retain and grow customer relationships in assigned market. Recommends convenience and self-service options, places customers in appropriate deposit and loan products, opens accounts, processes transactions, and refers customers to subject matter experts. Maintains confidentiality of bank records and customer information. Adheres to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Consistently provides outstanding sales and service representing the branch and the Bank in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Listens and recognizes customers’ financial needs to develop and deepen relationships. Opens consumer and small business accounts and services for Bank customers.
- Quotes consumer loan rates, originates loan applications, serves as primary customer contact throughout lending lifecycle and closes approved loans. Serves as a branch subject matter expert related to all lending products, services, and processes. Refers customers to other branch specialists and Bank partners.
- Participates in prospective and existing customer outreach efforts, including branch events, outbound calling efforts, and community events. Conducts business development calls with local small businesses.
- Establishes and conducts preset appointments with customers to perform regular financial reviews.
- Attains individual sales goals and contributes to overall branch goals.
- Utilizes Bank technology to educate and assist customers with digital banking services. Serves as the branch subject matter expert related to digital banking options.
- Performs customer transactions on the teller line and daily branch operational tasks. Proficient in accessing operational policies and procedures, as well as the core banking system.
- Assists in branch audits as it relates to sales and service-related activities.
- Adheres to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintains confidentiality of bank records and customer information. Regular, reliable attendance is critical.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as sales skills focused on relationship building. Knowledgeable in consumer and business banking deposit and lending products. Strong proficiency in banking software applications and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms. Exhibits sound judgement, attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Exhibits an enthusiastic spirit. Regular, reliable attendance is critical. NMLS license.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is often performed in an office environment, with frequent interruptions. Ability to remain in a stationary position, move inside the workplace, operate a computer, and exchange information. Occasionally required to move coin of approximately 50lbs. Must be able to positively discern and identify an individual. Willingness to work a flexible schedule and required to travel locally.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Associate Degree or equivalent years of experience.
MINIMUM PRIOR EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years related experience.
