This position complies with department and organization-wide policies, critical access hospital (CAH) requirements, safety and infection control, and all federal and state of Nebraska regulations related to the performance of Webster County Community Hospital (WCCH) operations and requirements of the compliance program.
Requirements:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with recruitment, interviewing coordination, onboarding, and maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.
- Supports routine HR functions, including employee communication, training coordination, policy updates, tracking compliance, and processing payroll with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provides general support to employees by answering questions related to HR policies, benefits, and organizational procedures.
- Assists with planning, promoting, and executing community outreach events and maintains positive relationships with local partners and organizations.
- Helps create communications such as flyers, newsletters, social media posts, and website updates to support HR and community relations initiatives.
- Provides administrative and project support to the HR & Community Relations Director, including scheduling, reporting, and organizing documentation.
- Upholds organizational policies, confidentiality standards, and all applicable RHC, CAH, nursing home, state, and federal regulations; participate in required safety, compliance, and training programs.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School education or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
- HR or communications, social/digital media experience is preferred.

Must possess valid NE driver's license.
