Job Summary
As a WeBrakes Mobile Brake Mechanic, you’ll travel to customers’ locations to diagnose and repair their brakes, delivering safe, high-quality service on-site. Weekday and weekend availability is required to be considered for this position.
Location
- Mobile in greater Philadelphia area (Philadelphia Center City approximately 50 mile radius)
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations (home, office, or other designated sites) to inspect, diagnose, and repair their brakes
- Repair/replace brake pads, rotors, drums, shoes, calipers, and brake fluid safely and efficiently on a variety of makes and models
- Pick up required parts from local parts suppliers to complete scheduled repairs
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding diagnoses, recommended services, timelines and pricing as needed
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle details, parts used, services performed, and service outcomes
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, and in good working condition
- Ensure all work meets WeBrake quality, safety, and service standards
Requirements
- At least 2 years of proven experience performing brake repairs (pads, rotors, calipers, and related components)
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive brake systems and safety standards
- ASE certification a plus
- Must be an energetic self-starter willing to work in all weather conditions, including but not limited to hot and cold temperatures, light rain/snow
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and willingness to travel as required
- Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
- Ability to work weekends
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to lift and move inventory items and other work-related items (up to ~50 lbs.)
- Smartphone proficiency for scheduling and documentation
- Must be authorized to work in US
- Must pass background check and drug test
