Logistics & Inventory Clerk

WebNX is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Logistics & Inventory Clerk to join our Ogden team. This role is the backbone of our shipping, receiving, and inventory workflow, you will be the person who makes sure hardware arrives correctly, gets processed accurately, and leaves on time. If you take pride in a clean, organized operation and do not need to be reminded twice to update a tracking system, this role is a strong fit.

Schedule & Compensation

• Shift: 10:00 am – 6:30 pm, Monday - Friday
• Type: Full-time, On-site
• Pay Rate: $18.00/HR-$20.00/HR

Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Receiving

• Receive incoming shipments, verify documentation, inspect for damage, and input delivery data into the tracking system accurately.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, print labels, package components securely, and schedule pickups with designated carriers.
• Navigate delivery drivers to the correct drop-off locations and coordinate dock activity efficiently.
• Book freight shipments and manage carrier relationships for both inbound and outbound logistics.
• Load and unload shipments using pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records for all incoming and outgoing hardware and supplies.
• Perform regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
• Label, sort, wrap, pack, and repack goods to meet quality and safety standards.
• Move inventory throughout the warehouse and staging areas as operational needs require.
• Manage the disposal and recycling of packaging materials, cardboard, and pallets to keep the floor clear and safe.

Safety & Compliance

• Maintain a safety-first mindset at all times and adhere to OSHA guidelines and WebNX internal safety protocols.
• Report hazards, near-miss incidents, and equipment malfunctions to leadership immediately.
• Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and hazard-free throughout every shift.

General

• Perform other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities may evolve as the company grows.

Qualifications

Required

• 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
• Experience operating a pallet jack and forklift; certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a proven track record of accuracy in a high-volume environment.
• Comfortable with data entry and inventory tracking systems, able to learn internal tools quickly.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently while following established procedures.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.

Preferred

• Forklift certification.
• Experience with warehouse management software or inventory tracking platforms.
• Familiarity with computer hardware or IT equipment preferred but not required.

• Physical demands - Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, and lift as required, on a continuous basis, with items that can weigh up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, climb stairs, twist, bend, work above shoulders, grasp, carry, push, and pull.
• Fine Motor Skills: Coordinate body movements and use hands to manipulate, grasp, and carry tools, cables, and small computer components precisely.
• Requires sitting for extended periods to perform sustained work at a computer terminal. This involves repetitive motions, including extensive use of hands, fingers, and wrists for typing, scripting, and configuring systems.
• Work in noisy environments.
• Ability to work within a data center environment.
