Jr. Business Analyt

We are seeking a Jr. Business Analyst with 1 2 years of experience in Healthcare Claims to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will support business operations and system enhancement initiatives by gathering requirements, analyzing data, and assisting in the development of solutions that improve healthcare claims processing accuracy and efficiency.

• Analyze and document business requirements related to healthcare claims processing and system workflows.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to clarify business needs and translate them into functional specifications.

• Perform data analysis on claims, member, and provider datasets to identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities.

• Participate in system testing, including writing test cases, performing UAT, and validating results against business expectations.

• Assist with process mapping, gap analysis, and reporting on claim-related performance metrics.

• Support production issue triage and resolution in collaboration with development and QA teams.

• Maintain documentation, user guides, and process flows for healthcare claim systems and enhancements.

• Participate in regular meetings with internal teams and external clients to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 1 2 years of Business Analyst experience, preferably in the healthcare insurance or healthcare technology domain.

• Strong understanding of healthcare claims (837/835 formats, EDI transactions, CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes).

• Basic knowledge of HIPAA compliance and healthcare payer systems.

• Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio (or similar process-mapping tools).

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both business and technical teams.
