Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective students through various channels, including campus visits, phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings, to promote the institution’s programs and enrollment opportunities.
- Conduct public speaking presentations at recruitment events, school visits, and community outreach initiatives to effectively communicate the benefits of our academic offerings.
- Manage student information within the student information system (Ellucian or similar platforms), ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality throughout the admissions process.
- Assist applicants with completing their applications, gathering necessary documentation, and understanding admissions requirements in compliance with educational regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to develop recruitment strategies, track outreach efforts using spreadsheets and CRM systems, and analyze data to improve enrollment outcomes.
- Provide personalized academic advising to prospective students regarding program options, course planning, and university policies.
- Maintain detailed records of interactions, application statuses, and follow-up activities to support efficient admissions and enrollment management.
Skills
- Strong public speaking skills with experience presenting to diverse audiences in educational or community settings.
- Proficiency in using student information systems such as Ellucian and CRM platforms for data management and communication tracking.
- Excellent written communication skills for crafting clear correspondence, application guidance, and promotional materials.
- Knowledge of admissions procedures, recruiting techniques, educational compliance standards, and school policy regulations.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity while maintaining compliance with privacy laws.
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds in an academic institution or similar environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel (spreadsheets), and Outlook for daily administrative tasks.
