Weber Specialties Company seeks a skilled Metal Finishing Specialist to join its team. As a Metal Finishing Specialist, you will be responsible for grinding and cleaning metal components using pneumatic/electric grinding equipment.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. They will also possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grind and clean metal components with pneumatic/electric grinding equipment.
- Use Dynafile handheld device to sand/polish welds on stainless and other steel products.
- Comply with all safety procedures per Company Safety Manual and utilize job safety devices.
- Accurately complete all shop floor paperwork including production release and product identification and electronic time sheet.
- Communicate with material handler and Lead as necessary to ensure availability of proper materials to do job.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, including ability to work in a team environment.
