Full-Time | Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM | No Fridays, Nights, or Weekends

Job Description
Clinical Support
- Assist the orthodontist with patient care and treatment
- Greet and seat patients, assess oral hygiene, and collect health histories
- Prepare teeth for bonding and place/remove separators, bands, and brackets
- Capture and develop x-rays (Panorex/Ceph), impressions, digital scans (iTero), and photographs
- Remove appliances and bonding materials using hand instruments
- Document treatment notes accurately and clearly communicate post-treatment instructions to patients
Sterilization & Infection Control
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and treatment areas
- Follow all OSHA, CDC, and office infection control protocols
Patient Communication & Education
- Provide post-treatment instructions, hygiene tips, and appliance care guidance
- Motivate patients to follow treatment plans and build trust with families
- Keep parents updated on treatment progress in a friendly, informative way
Practice Support
- Manage clinical inventory and prepare hygiene kits
- Participate in contests, promotions, and special events that keep patients engaged
- Assist with letters and communication to referring dentists and families
- Collaborate during staff meetings and contribute to a team-centered environment
- Support facility care and maintenance.

Requirements
- 1 year of orthodontic assisting experience (required)
- Current X-ray and Prophy certification (required)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A kind and welcoming attitude—especially with kids and teens
- Willingness to be a team player and help wherever needed

Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
Location: On-site at our Omaha office (68130)
Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting.
